Toggle the Interface Renderer: This is the big one. Open your BlueStacks Settings (if you can get in) and go to the Graphics tab. Find 'Interface Renderer' and change it from 'Auto' or 'OpenGL' to 'Software' or 'DirectX'. This forces the emulator's UI to render differently, bypassing the conflict.
The 'Stable Version' Clean Install: If you're seeing the 'Windows cannot access the specified device' error, your installation might be corrupted by a buggy update. Use the official BlueStacks Cleaner Tool (don't just use Windows Uninstall) to wipe everything, then download the latest v5.22 or higher.
Instance Switch (The Android 11 Fix): If you're on a Nougat instance, it's time to move on. Open the Multi-Instance Manager and create an Android 11 (Beta) or Pie 64-bit instance. The newer Android versions are way more stable on Windows 11 and handle the newer game engines much better.
Antivirus 'False Positive' Check: Some 2025 antivirus updates are flagging the virtualization engine. Add the BlueStacks installation folder to your 'Exclusions' list in Windows Defender or your 3rd-party antivirus.
Most of the time, just switching that Interface Renderer to 'Software' stops the black screens immediately. Let me know if that works!
