BlueStacks 5 Stuck on "Checking Info" During Google Play Login
I’m about to pull my hair out. I just reinstalled BlueStacks 5 because I wanted to play the new Pokémon TCG Pocket, but I can't even get into the Play Store. Every time I click 'Sign In,' it just sits on a gray screen that says 'Checking info' with a spinning circle. I let it sit for like 20 minutes and nothing happens. I’ve restarted my PC, checked my internet, and even disabled my firewall, but it’s still stuck in this infinite loop. Is there a way to bypass this or force it to load? I'm on Windows 11 with a pretty fast connection, so I don't think it's my hardware.

This 'Checking Info' loop is super common on the newer Windows 11 builds. Usually, it's not your internet—it’s either a corrupted Google cache or a graphics rendering conflict. Try these steps in this exact order:

Clear Google Data (The #1 Fix): Go to System Apps > Settings > Apps. Find Google Play Store AND Google Play Services. For both, click 'Storage' and then 'Clear Data'. Restart BlueStacks and try again.

Switch Graphics Engine Mode: Sometimes the login screen fails to render because of the graphics mode. Go to BlueStacks Settings > Graphics. Switch the 'Graphics Engine Mode' from Performance (Legacy) to Compatibility (or vice versa). Save and restart.

Check Virtualization: Open your Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to the Performance tab, and look at the bottom right. If it says 'Virtualization: Disabled', you need to enable it in your BIOS/UEFI. Google won't let you sign in securely if this is off.

Use the Pie 64-bit Instance: If you're using the old Nougat 32-bit version, it's very buggy with Google services in 2025. Open the Multi-Instance Manager, create a new Pie 64-bit or Android 11 instance, and try logging in there. It’s much more stable for Play Store authentication.

The Airplane Mode Trick: Some users find that toggling the 'Airplane Mode' (if your laptop has it) or disconnecting/reconnecting your Wi-Fi while the 'Checking Info' screen is visible forces the connection to refresh.

Try the Clear Data step first—it fixes it for about 90% of people!
